CM Punk drops massive tease about WWE future; potential John Cena implications
WWE Superstar CM Punk recently took to social media to drop a massive tease regarding his future in the Stamford-based promotion. The Best in the World's current plans might affect John Cena's last run in 2025.
On the latest edition of WWE RAW, CM Punk came out to cut a promo after successfully helping Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline emerge victorious at Survivor Series: WarGames. During the segment, The Straight Edge Superstar pointed in the air and explained that he was pointing at the WrestleMania 41 sign, which only he could see. The former World Heavyweight Champion then talked about main eventing The Show of Shows after potentially winning the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber in 2025.
The Best in the World recently took to his Instagram Stories to upload a photo of himself from WWE RAW, where he could be seen pointing at an imaginary WrestleMania 41 sign.

CM Punk's future plans might affect John Cena's retirement tour in 2025, as many people believe the 16-time World Champion is the favorite to win either the Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber to advance to WrestleMania 41 and possibly challenge a top champion.
If Punk manages to advance to next year's Show of Shows ahead of Cena, then it might be a full-circle moment for The Best in the World due to his Summer of Punk feud with The Cenation Leader in 2011.
Bill Apter believes CM Punk could face Roman Reigns and another top WWE name soon
Ever since CM Punk joined the OG Bloodline for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, many people speculate that The Best in the World might face Roman Reigns at some point in the future.
During an edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted, Bill Apter said that he believed The Original Tribal Chief might lock horns with Punk soon, but it could become a Triple Threat match as both stars have a history with Seth Rollins as well.
"Actually, thinking back on this now, Roman would probably welcome a triple threat match between the two of them 'cause he hates them both. I just think something tying the three of them together in opposing situations might be the favor. I don't know," Apter noted.
It remains to be seen what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for CM Punk's future.
