CM Punk interrupted on RAW before his hiatus; Major new feud teased

CM Punk is set to be gone from WWE for the foreseeable future - to the point where even he doesn't know when he'll return. Following his war inside Hell in a Cell, he was set to take a hiatus from RAW and before doing so, he was interrupted by a familiar name to tease a major feud.

This week on RAW, the show opened with CM Punk - the man who went through hell and came out victorious. It only makes sense for both Punk and Drew McIntyre to take a break after the incredible match they had at Bad Blood. Punk might have been victorious, but he didn't have the walk of a victorious man.

After CM Punk said that he didn't know when he was going to return, he was set to bid farewell for a little while, and Seth Rollins' music hit - a clear-cut tease of what is to come in the future.

It might be a new feud for Punk this year, but in reality, it's just picking up where he left off when he returned to WWE. Triple H confirmed in the WrestleMania 40 Behind The Curtains documentary that the original plan for WrestleMania 40 Night 1 was for Punk and Rollins to headline.

That could still be the case next year in Las Vegas, assuming that The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns are in the same match.

Either way, fans will just have to wait and see if Punk will return for another match before the end of 2024.
