CM Punk makes two surprising claims about the future of his career on RAW after Hell in a Cell announcement

CM Punk opened the show on WWE RAW, which was his big return after getting taken out by Drew McIntyre two nights after Bash in Berlin 2024. During his promo, he made two surprising claims about the future of his career.

CM Punk will be going to hell in a few weeks as he takes on Drew McIntyre in an epic trilogy match. But round three will be inside Hell in a Cell, something Punk famously said he wanted no part of a few months ago. However, during his promo on RAW, he admitted to being naive to think that he was past Drew McIntyre after he touched four corners to win their Strap Match in Berlin.

Punk went as far as to say that even his wife (AJ Lee) didn't want him to compete in the Hell in a Cell Match. But before that, he made a surprising claim by stating that he has a lot more matches left in his tank than people might think. The second surprising claim is that he was willing to end it all in his conclusive war against Drew McIntyre.

It might sound like the two claims are contradictory, but they weren't said in the same sentence. It was more to imply that he was aware of the risk to his career owing to his participation in the Hell in a Cell Match and that he was ready to go all out to get the better of Drew McIntyre.

Surprisingly, Drew McIntyre was not out for the promo, but he didn't need to be. CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre has potentially been the rivalry of the year in WWE and it all began with a freak injury.

Reports have suggested that the Hell in a Cell Match will headline Bad Blood 2024.
