CM Punk mocks Seth Rollins after major announcement on WWE RAW
WWE Superstar CM Punk recently took to social media to mock Seth Rollins after the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. Punk and Rollins are finally set to lock horns in early 2025.
After CM Punk's return to World Wrestling Entertainment at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, Seth Rollins was visibly frustrated. Following the show, the company teased a feud between the two, but that did not happen as both stars were involved in different storylines.
However, on this week's edition of WWE RAW, The Best in the World opened the show and called out The Visionary to a match. After a war of words, a brawl broke out between the two. Later in the show, Adam Pearce announced backstage that CM Punk and Seth Rollins would finally face each other on January 6, 2025, on the red brand's Netflix debut.
Following this massive announcement, The Straight Edge Superstar took to his Instagram Stories to mock the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. In his post, Punk tagged Rollins and uploaded a screenshot of the football team the latter supports, the Chicago Bears, losing to the Vikings.

Vince Russo believes WWE is trying to turn Seth Rollins into a heel
During the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, former WWE head writer Vince Russo highlighted how CM Punk buried Seth Rollins' music and his character on RAW.
Russo also mentioned that he believed the Triple H-led creative team was trying to turn Rollins into a heel ahead of his clash against Punk.
"First of all, we open with the CM Punk promo, really really taking shots at Rollins. The way he dresses, burying the music. I think this is clearly... they gonna try to turn [Rollins] heel. He came out without the music. They don't want the fans singing along to the music if he's gonna be heel. CM Punk ran down the people signing. He called him Liberace, Elton John, etc., etc., etc., Just one insult after the next," he said.
