CM Punk reveals "mindblowing" feature of WWE employee app

The new era of WWE has brought on many blockbuster changes and additions, from the return of CM Punk to a working relationship with TNA. Officials have also made key internal changes that affect employees, not just the product. Punk himself has just revealed several interesting aspects of the new regime.

Triple H and Nick Khan are widely praised for fostering a better working environment in the Stamford-based promotion. WWE's Chief Content Officer and Chief Executive Officer are put over by superstars in the media when compared to former Chairman Vince McMahon. Punk was a part of WWE's strong presence at Fanatics Fest NYC this weekend, and he continued the trend of publicly revealing how much better World Wrestling Entertainment is these days.

The Second City Saint was interviewed by The Masked Man at Fanatics Fest and was asked if he felt burned out by his previous run with the company. Punk said 100% burnout was inevitable due to the rate he was working, so he took himself off the "hamster wheel" because no one else would. He mentioned "certain people" who are no longer with WWE, and how they'd deny his request for time off as he was needed.

Punk then praised the current WWE management system, and revealed that the internal app for employees has a feature that makes it easy to ask for days off. The former AEW World Champion expressed how surprised he was at this perk, and looked to how strong the roster is talent-wise.

"What I think is now in place is a system and management that understands that [burnout]. The talent, again, is so rich that if Cody Rhodes needs a show off, he can take that day off. If I need a day off, I can take that day off. I’m still flabbergasted there’s a tab on the WWE app that you can click, and you can request days off, and it still, brother, it still blows my mind. [laughs] It’s a brave new world," CM Punk said. [From 20:56 to 21:27]

Khan and The Game have received several public nods from superstars as of late. A top talent just credited the two for one significant improvement for wrestlers.
