CM Punk's appearance for major WWE show all but confirmed
WWE Superstar CM Punk's massive appearance for a major show has been officially confirmed by the Stamford-based promotion. The Second City Saint is currently on a hiatus from television.
Since Royal Rumble 2024, Punk has been in a heated feud with Drew McIntyre. The arch-rivals gave fans one of the best storylines of the year with some incredible performances during their three outings against each other. Their latest clash came at the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event, where The Best in the World emerged victorious, winning two out of the three bouts they locked horns in. After making an appearance on RAW after Bad Blood, Punk has not been seen on WWE television.
However, there is some good news for fans as WWE has officially confirmed that CM Punk is all set to appear at Madison Square Garden on December 26, 2024, during the company's Live Holiday Tour.
Some more big-name stars, including Gunther, Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan, Seth Rollins, and Rey Mysterio, were also advertised for the show.

Dave Meltzer believes WWE will put a title on CM Punk at some point
During an edition of Keepin' It 100, Dave Meltzer said that he expected WWE to put a major title on CM Punk at some point.
Meltzer also mentioned that he believed The Second City Saint could become a World Champion at WrestleMania 41.
"As far as Punk, I mean it depends on the situation. I would say, yes. I would expect to put the title on him at some point. I think that crowning achievement is probably a good story that they could do. So yes, I think they should do it. It has to be the right time. I don't think right now is the right time. I think six months from now, maybe WrestleMania would be the right time."
Many fans believe CM Punk might return ahead of this year's Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event to possibly confront Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for The Second City Saint's future.
