CM Punk's "bad promos are 9's," claims former WWE writer after RAW appearance

Former WWE writer and Hollywood star Freddie Prinze Jr. recently discussed CM Punk's heartfelt promo on RAW. After the brutal Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood, the star addressed his fans.

Punk and Drew McIntyre engaged in a fierce battle at Bad Blood. The two men stepped inside the hellish structure to lay rest to a rivalry that had been the headlines of the wrestling world for over six months. Nothing was off limits inside the cell, and the two men bashed each other with any foreign objects they could find. Punk finally emerged victorious, hitting the GTS on Drew with a chain wrapped around his knee.

During the last episode of Wrestling with Freddie, the former WWE writer pointed out that Punk was excellent on the mic, and even his bad promos got reactions. Freddie felt this was an amazing segment, and the promo cast serious doubt on Punk's future.

"He's been mixing his promos. I've said this before, his bad promos are 9's. This was a 10. He talked sh*t to people." Freddie continued, "He finished his promo. He said, 'I don't know when I'm gonna be back.' And as he finished his promo, Seth Rollins walks in. That's why I said the show flowed so well." [From 6:42 - 7:20]

Seth Rollins confronted CM Punk on RAW

Just as CM Punk was making his way back, Seth Rollins' music played, and The Visionary walked out. The two stars momentarily confronted each other, teasing their rivalry's renewal.

When Seth got into the ring, he wished that Punk would get better soon. Rollins followed that up by stating that he was waiting for Punk to get better so that he could beat up the Best in the World and send him home once and for all.

While CM Punk is at home and licking his wounds, it will be interesting to see how he responds to Seth Rollins. The two stars have a lot of history and could well be on a collision course soon.
