CM Punk sends cryptic message ahead of WWE SmackDown
CM Punk sent out a very interesting message today on social media ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown in Jacksonville, Florida. The 45-year-old is currently on the shelf with a torn triceps suffered during the Men's Royal Rumble match in January.
Ahead of tonight's edition of the blue brand, Punk took to his Instagram story to deliver a cryptic message. He shared an image of a church, which has been identified as St. George's Tron Church in Glasgow, Scotland. WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 is set to take place in Glasgow on June 15, and Drew McIntyre is rumored to have a major match at the event.

Drew McIntyre took credit for CM Punk's injury following Royal Rumble 2024. The Scottish Warrior defeated Seth Rollins during Night 2 of WWE WrestleMania XL to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. However, he decided to trash-talk CM Punk, who was on commentary for the match, and it backfired. Punk attacked the veteran, and Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to become the new champion.
WWE SmackDown star reveals he has patched things up with CM Punk
SmackDown commentator Corey Graves has disclosed that he has repaired his friendship with CM Punk following the controversial star's return to WWE.
Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview, Graves shared that he was able to speak with Punk at Royal Rumble 2024, and the two stars talked things out. He noted that the issues the two once had are now a thing of the past.
"I am proud to report that it's all water under the bridge. Actually, at the Royal Rumble, I finally had a chance in person [to talk]. I bumped into him briefly the night of Survivor Series backstage, but it was chaotic. He had just come back. Everything was at 11 at the moment. The day of the Royal Rumble at Tropicana Field, I actually got to pull him aside for a few minutes, and we cleared the air, [and] had a nice long chat." [5:31 – 5:54]
