CM Punk sends heartfelt message to wrestler outside of WWE
CM Punk shared a heartfelt message for a star outside of WWE today on social media. The controversial star is currently involved in a rivalry with Drew McIntyre on WWE RAW.
The 45-year-old returned to the world of professional wrestling in 2021 with All Elite Wrestling. Unfortunately, his time in AEW did not go as intended, and his contract was terminated after a backstage altercation with current TNT Champion Jack Perry at All In 2023.
Punk took to his Instagram story to wish ROH/AEW star Diamante a happy birthday and added a birthday cake emoji on top of her head. You can check out the veteran's post on Instagram by clicking here.
CM Punk appeared on this past Monday's edition of WWE RAW and was confronted by Seth Rollins. The Visionary is also upset with Punk for getting involved in the World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Money in the Bank and warned the former AEW star that his actions were going to have consequences.
Big E calls CM Punk an "agent of chaos" following WWE Money in the Bank
Former WWE Champion Big E has shared his thoughts on CM Punk interfering in the World Heavyweight Championship match last weekend at Money in the Bank.
Drew McIntyre won the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and attempted to cash in during the match between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins. However, CM Punk got involved, and Priest was able to escape the Premium Live Event as the reigning World Heavyweight Champion.
During the Money in the Bank 2024 Post Show, Big E noted that he has been friends with Punk for a long time, and the former AEW World Champion doesn't mind upsetting people.
"Look, once again, I can't say that too many of us are shocked. I've been friends with Punk for a long time, he's been good to me. But he's what I would refer to as an agent of chaos. He is someone who is very polarizing and he doesn't have any issue upsetting people, and clearly he's upset you many times, Wade." [From 53:46 - 54:02]
The Second City Saint has also asked RAW GM Adam Pearce to lift Drew McIntyre's suspension. The Scottish Warrior flipped out at Money in the Bank and caught Pearce with an elbow to the face. McIntyre will be appearing on tomorrow night's edition of the red brand to address the controversy.
