CM Punk sends heartfelt message to WWE "daughter" on her birthday

CM Punk sent a heartfelt message to his WWE "daughter" today on social media. The Second City Saint has not been seen on WWE television since the RAW following Bad Blood.

NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade have humorously referred to CM Punk as their father in the past. Perez celebrated her 23rd birthday today and Punk took to his Instagram story to send her a message.

He shared a picture of Perez and Jade and sent a birthday message to the NXT Women's Champion. Perez was giving the camera the middle finger in the photo, and you can check out Punk's post on Instagram by clicking here.

"Happy birthday @roxanne_wwe," wrote Punk.

The former AEW star defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood last month in Georgia. The 46-year-old was confronted by Seth Rollins on the October 7 edition of the red brand, and the two stars had a staredown on the entrance ramp.

Popular WWE star discusses her friendship with CM Punk

Women's Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill recently opened up about her real-life friendship with CM Punk.

Cargill and Punk used to perform in All Elite Wrestling, but both made the jump to WWE in 2023. Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter and Dr. Chris Featherstone in an exclusive interview, Cargill praised Punk as a human being. The 32-year-old noted that Punk was a straight shooter, and his energy was infectious.

"I mean, he's [CM Punk] a straight-forth guy," Cargill said. "Like, I don't know. He's just infectious. His energy's infectious. He wants everybody to do great. He's a straight shooter. If he sees something he doesn't like, he's the type of person to come over and tell me, 'Jade, that was cr*p,' or whatever he'll say in his form of words." [From 03:57 – 04:14]

Punk has not returned to the company since his appearance on RAW last month. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the former AEW World Champion when he returns to action.
