CM Punk shares rare footage of AJ Lee ahead of WWE SummerSlam return
WWE Superstar CM Punk recently took to social media to share a rare video of his wife, AJ Lee, ahead of his in-ring return at SummerSlam. Punk has not wrestled since the 2024 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.
After getting injured during the Men's Rumble match, The Second City Saint started a heated feud with Drew McIntyre. Although Punk has not stepped inside the squared circle for a match, he has cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship on several occasions.
During last week's episode of RAW, The Best in the World revealed that he was finally cleared to wrestle. He is now set to lock horns with The Scottish Warrior at SummerSlam with their former rival, Seth Rollins, as the special guest referee.
CM Punk recently took to his Instagram Stories to upload some rare footage of his wife and former WWE Divas Champion, AJ Lee. In the video, Punk is possibly walking down an aisle in a shop with his dog, Larry, in a cart and Lee could be seen shopping for groceries.

Many felt this Instagram Story was an extremely rare peek into their lives as CM Punk barely posts any pictures or videos with his real-life wife, AJ Lee on social media.
CM Punk talked about AJ Lee's possible WWE return
During an interview with Ringside Collectibles, CM Punk said that he was not pushing AJ Lee for anything as he believed the latter knew there was an option for her to return to the Stamford-based promotion.
He felt his return to WWE and his current happiness with the promotion would be easy for her to observe. Punk also mentioned that he would love to be in a storyline with his wife on WWE television.
"I certainly am not pushing her [AJ Lee] to do anything. I think she knows that there's options. I think she sees how happy I am and how things are different. But if the right situation presented itself, it would have to be a discussion between her and certain people, and I don’t necessarily want to be in the middle of that just because it could get kind of weird. Selfishly, yes, I would love to make out with my wife on television again," CM Punk said.
It will be interesting to see if AJ Lee will come out of retirement to wrestle again in a WWE ring.
