CM Punk is a "soon to be Hall of Famer," predicts 30-year-old WWE Superstar

A popular WWE star has made a big prediction about CM Punk's future. The star in question is Trick Williams and he's sure that Punk is a soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer.

Punk has done almost everything in the pro-wrestling business during his illustrious career as an in-ring performer. He is now all set to officiate an NXT Championship match between Trick Williams and Ethan Page on October 1, 2024.

In an interview with Pix11 News, Trick Williams opened up about the upcoming bout and heaped praise on CM Punk. Here's what he said about the former WWE Champion:

"Well, CM Punk, he's a legendary WWE soon to be Hall of Famer, I'm sure, and he's from Chicago. So with us premiering in Chicago, man, it's gonna be a huge deal. I already talked to Punk here and he told me he's gonna call it right down the middle. He's gonna call it like it is. So that's a big deal for us. I mean, we gotta keep Ethan Page straight. He likes to cheat a lot." (H/T Fightful)

CM Punk has yet to achieve one big feat in pro-wrestling

Punk is a multi-time world champion across several promotions and is a sure-fire future WWE Hall of Famer. One thing he's yet to achieve, though, is to headline a WrestleMania. Punk has headlined a long list of WWE PLEs in the past but has never headlined The Show of Shows.

Punk seemingly got close to headlining this year's WrestleMania but unfortunately got injured during the 2024 Royal Rumble match. Thus, Punk ended up missing WrestleMania XL. He did play a major role at the PLE and cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Title. Punk's fans would love to see him headline next year's WrestleMania.
