Cody Rhodes breaks silence after major appearance outside WWE
Cody Rhodes just made a major appearance outside of WWE. He broke his silence on this appearance.
Cody Rhodes is one of the top stars in the WWE. Ever since his return to the Stamford-based promotion, The American Nightmare's starpower has been on the rise. After chasing his dream for more than two years, Rhodes finally managed to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL, making him one of the most sought after stars in the company.
Given Cody's inspiring presence and personality, it should come as no surprise to see that The American Nightmare is also in demand outside WWE. Recently, Rhodes starred in an ad for the popular show The Boys. In the ad, the camera pans up Cody from the rear, who's wearing The Homelander's cape. He turns around and asks in his trademark fashion, 'So Homelander, what do you want to talk about?'
Cody Rhodes has now taken to social media to break his silence after starring in this ad.
"Homelander, you just met your American Nightmare! Watch all new episodes of The Boys streaming now on Prime Video. #ad @theboystv @primevideo."

Cody Rhodes names his Mount Rushmore of wrestling
The Mount Rushmore of wrestling is a topic that is often heavily discussed in the industry. Every wrestler has their own preference for their Mount Rushmore and Cody Rhodes is no different.
Speaking on The Pivot Podcast, Cody named The Rock, John Cena, Ric Flair, and Dusty Rhodes as his Mount Rushmore of wrestling.
"The Mount Rushmore is a question always in wrestling. The problem today is, people start to qualify it, 'Well, OK, so technical wrestling, it's going to be this guy...,' No, just tell us your Mount Rushmore, like, who's the guy to you? ... I cannot believe I'm going to say this, because he's not a fan of mine and I'm not a fan of his, but it's going to be... The Rock is going to be one of the heads up there. In addition to that, it's going to be John Cena, it's going to be 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair, and then it's going to be my dad [Dusty Rhodes]." [From 46:57 to 47:43]
The American Nightmare will team with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens against The Bloodline at WWE Money in the Bank this Saturday.
