Cody Rhodes confirms The Rock's WrestleMania 41 involvement
WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has confirmed The Rock's involvement in the plans for WrestleMania 41. The 2025 edition of The Showcase of The Immortals will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 19 and 20.
The Final Boss made a surprising one-off appearance at Bad Blood after Jimmy Uso had returned to help The American Nightmare and Roman Reigns defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in the main event. The People's Champion stared down the trio celebrating the win over the new Bloodline, hinting at a potential feud. However, The Rock has not appeared on WWE television since.
In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Cody Rhodes addressed the possibility of The Rock not competing on The Grandest Stage of Them All next year. The Undisputed WWE Champion pointed out that The Final Boss is a member of the TKO Group Holdings' board of directors and has played a major role in the wrestling promotion's recent success.
Rhodes added that the former World Champion is still involved with what happens at WrestleMania 41, irrespective of his in-ring appearance at the show.
"Well, I mean this, and I don’t mean this in a smart-aleck-type way, but Rock is the director of the board, the man that is The Final Boss. Dwayne Johnson is different from The Final Boss, and his outside-the-box thinking with Nick Khan and Triple H is part of WWE’s record era. Part of this WWE's Netflix era. So whether he’s in the ring or not, he is very much still involved with what happens at [WrestleMania] 41. I know when he comes back, I know who he’ll come looking for, and I know what to expect. But what I can say about WrestleMania 41 is: keep the rumors going, keep them churning, enjoy the discourse, but I think what you will get will surprise you all," Rhodes said. [From 3:38 to 4:21]
