Cody Rhodes finally addresses major Roman Reigns rumor for WrestleMania 41: "The hardest thing to do"

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has finally commented on the rumor regarding potential plans for WrestleMania 41. Rhodes was asked about his thoughts on possibly facing Roman Reigns and The Rock in a triple threat match next year in Las Vegas.

The Rock returned to WWE at the end of Bad Blood in Atlanta after Rhodes and Reigns successfully teamed up to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. It was then rumored that one of the bouts planned for WrestleMania 41 was a triple threat match involving Rocky, Rhodes, and Reigns.

Speaking to Dayna Roselli on Vegas Revealed, The American Nightmare opened up about the plans for next year's Grandest Stage of Them All. Rhodes stated that he doesn't care about any rumors as long as he's in the main event of WrestleMania 41.

"There are so many rumors circulating. It eats up the social feed, all the different rumors of what the matches might be. The hardest thing to do in WWE, sports entertainment, and pro wrestling in general is not to win (the WWE Title), the hardest thing to do is main event WrestleMania. I don't care what the rumor is, as long as the rumor is I'm in the main event of WrestleMania. I'm good with it. What I can say for those who keep an eye on the rumor, I bet you what they get at WrestleMania 41 is unexpected even to them. Even the people who follow this, the diehards who feel like they have their finger on the pulse, this one is going to be tough. This one is going to be unexpected, is the best way to put it, but in the best of ways," Rhodes said. [H/T: Fightful]

Cody Rhodes on his favorite WrestleMania moment

In addition to being a WWE Superstar, Cody Rhodes has also been a huge fan since he was a kid. Rhodes opened up about his favorite WrestleMania moment in a recent Q&A on WWE's YouTube channel. He picked Miss Elizabeth's reunion with Randy Savage as his most unforgettable moment.

"I will be the only one who gives you this answer, but it's Ultimate Warrior vs. Randy Savage, career ending match in Los Angeles and Miss Elizabeth comes down to the ring. She went to open the ropes and he opened the ropes for her. Everything he did got a reaction. I could watch that moment on repeat for every day of my life and be happy," Rhodes said.
