Cody Rhodes hits major WWE milestone following SmackDown
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes reached a major milestone following this past Friday's edition of SmackDown. The American Nightmare is scheduled to team up with Roman Reigns to battle The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match next month at WWE Bad Blood.
According to a new report from Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, Rhodes has entered the top five overall in sales for any celebrity or athlete for Fanatics. The report noted that there are not any other wrestlers in Fanatics' top five besides Cody Rhodes.
This week on SmackDown, WWE aired the face-off between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at Georgia Tech. The two stars agreed to put their differences aside to battle The Bloodline at Bad Blood next month in Atlanta, Georgia.
However, Roman Reigns noted that he would be coming after the Undisputed WWE Championship again once their issues with The Bloodline are finished. Rhodes defeated Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania XL earlier this year to become champion.
Former WWE manager claims Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns may have issues at Bad Blood
Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell believes that the tense relationship between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns may cause issues at WWE Bad Blood.
Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell noted that Reigns and Rhodes likely still hated each other, but agreed to work together to battle Sikoa and Fatu at the premium live event on October 5. The veteran added that he likes that the two stars are not "buddy-buddy" heading into the marquee tag team match next month.
"I liked Cody's line, 'You were before WrestleMania.' That's what he was saying, 'You lost all claims right then, and it came to me. I didn't like you saying that.' And he was pissed off. I do like he and Roman are not buddy-buddy. They literally still hate each other, and that's the feeling they're giving off. They'll play upon that later. But they played that part right. So all in all, I think the closing segment was good." [From 27:27 - 28:07]

Roman Reigns has not competed in a match since losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. Only time will tell if Rhodes and Reigns will be able to defeat The Bloodline at Bad Blood.
