Cody Rhodes invites 31-year-old star to meet him face-to-face next week

Cody Rhodes had a sit-down interview in the pre-taped episode of SmackDown on July 26. He made his intentions for the near future clear and called out a 31-year-old star to meet him face-to-face next week.

Cody has another big challenge at SummerSlam in the form of Solo Sikoa. In what many consider his most significant championship defense since winning it at WrestleMania 40, Cody will face The Bloodline's new Tribal Chief.

While acknowledging Solo Sikoa being ready for the WWE Championship opportunity, Cody Rhodes refused to let the title go back to The Bloodline. For next week, he called out the 31-year-old to meet him alone in the ring face-to-face:

It's all about psychology, as Cody wants to get into Solo's head. As always, the numbers game has firmly been in The Bloodline's favor, and two of the new members, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu, will challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship next week.

Solo Sikoa accepted the challenge to meet Cody face to face. He made it clear that if Roman Reigns had an issue with that, he knew where to find Solo.

SmackDown ended with Solo once again demanding acknowledgment while being adorned with a garland by Jacob Fatu.
