Cody Rhodes makes a mind-blowing claim ahead of teaming up with Roman Reigns at WWE Bad Blood

Cody Rhodes changed the landscape of WWE against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. However, The American Nightmare made a game-changing claim ahead of his tag team match with the Original Tribal Chief in Atlanta at Bad Blood.

The Stamford-based company has drastically changed and new faces have emerged at the top in the past few years. WrestleMania XL was a defining moment in the company's history and many believe it's hard to outshine. Recently, however, Rhodes made a mind-blowing claim ahead of Bad Blood in Atlanta.

In an exclusive with Justin Barrasso, Cody Rhodes promoted the upcoming event, where he will team up with Roman Reigns against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The American Nightmare stated Bad Blood would be the company's best premium live event yet.

“Anything is really possible now. The quarterback and the cornerstone. It’ll be the best WWE PLE to date," Rhodes said. [H/T: Justin Barrasso]

Cody Rhodes trusts Roman Reigns ahead of WWE Bad Blood

Earlier this year, Cody Rhodes ended Roman Reigns' tyranny as the Undisputed WWE Champion in Philadelphia. The American Nightmare ended the OTC's legendary reign and the latter went on a long hiatus from WWE TV.

In the Orignal Tribal Chief's absence, Solo Sikoa created his army and targeted The American Nightmare and the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, the move didn't sit well with Roman Reigns, as Sikoa crossed a few lines in the process by hurting Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso.

Last month, the OTC returned and agreed to team up with Cody Rhodes to face The Bloodline. However, it didn't go down well with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, who've had The American Nightmare's back on Friday Night SmackDown for months.

On the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Rhodes said he trusts Reigns even though he defeated him at The Showcase of Immortals. Moreover, he stated the two have a common enemy, which they need to eliminate. The logic was sound, but it still didn't sit well with The Viper and The Prizefighter.
