Cody Rhodes names popular WWE star who deserves new, customized merchandise lineĀ

Reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently spoke about another star who needs customized merchandise. The American Nightmare was alluding to none other than Main Event Jey Uso.

Cody and Jey have a long history together in WWE. When Jey was part of The Bloodline, he did everything to ensure that The American Nightmare didn't dethrone Roman Reigns. However, both stars settled their differences after The YEET Master departed the heel faction. Rhodes was a huge proponent of bringing him to RAW, and the two even won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship last year.

In a recent episode of Sneaker Shopping with Complex, Rhodes detailed that Jey deserved a "YEET-specific" line of Nike's Air Force shoes. The SmackDown star pointed out that Main Event Jey was not just sporting the sneakers outside the ring but also Superkicking people inside the ring.

"I think if somebody right now needed a show to come out for them and that be their specific version, it would be an Air Force specific version for Jey Uso. A YEET-specific, because I feel anyone else is like me. I'm wearing these at the run-ins; I'm wearing these at the airports. He's wearing them not just at the airports and run-ins, but he's Superkicking people with these shoes. So that's a whole thing," Cody Rhodes said. [From 5:28-5:52]

Cody Rhodes will confront Solo Sikoa on SmackDown

Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE Universe via a video package on last week's Friday Night SmackDown ahead of his showdown with Solo Sikoa at The Biggest Party of The Summer. The reigning Undisputed WWE Champion was laid out by The Bloodline 2.0 two weeks ago on the blue brand.

The 39-year-old spoke about how he had earlier destroyed The Bloodline at WrestleMania XL and how the heel faction had risen again.

Rhodes also acknowledged how the faction has laid waste to his allies, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. He also issued a challenge to Solo Sikoa to show up on SmackDown next week for a confrontation inside the ring ahead of their blockbuster showdown at SummerSlam.

The Street Champion accepted Cody Rhodes' challenge via a video package before the show ended. It will be interesting to see how the saga plays out this Friday.
