Cody Rhodes sends a 2-word message after giving Jacob Fatu his first pinfall loss in WWE

Cody Rhodes has taken to social media to send a two-word message regarding his upcoming appearance on WWE SmackDown this Friday. He defeated Jacob Fatu in a dark match following RAW this week.

The American Nightmare started feuding with The Bloodline in early 2023 after he won the Royal Rumble match and chose Roman Reigns as his opponent for WrestleMania 39. The two stars wrestled each other at The Grandest Stage of Them All again this year and they formed an unlikely alliance at Bad Blood where they beat the new Bloodline in a tag team match.

After this week's episode of RAW went off the air, Cody Rhodes wrestled Jacob Fatu in a Philadelphia Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship. He pinned The Samoan Werewolf to retain the title. The American Nightmare recently responded to Barclay's Center's tweet on X, which is the venue that will host SmackDown this Friday. He wrote that he cannot wait to appear on the show.

Former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci says Cody Rhodes losing to Gunther will kill his credibility

At Crown Jewel next month, the Undisputed WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion will collide for the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship. This will be their first time facing each other in a singles match in the company.

Speaking on the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci stated that Cody Rhodes should not lose to Gunther because it will kill his credibility.

"God forbid if Gunther beat him one, two, three, that would kill his credibility. Unbelievable. I would jump, I would flip out, Coach. I'm serious. That could never ever happen. It will kill Cody where you just had him at WrestleMania pin The OTC and beat him clean and now you're gonna have Gunther, Mr. Boring, beat Cody at Crown Jewel? No way!"

It'll be interesting to see who will walk out of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with two championships.
