Cody Rhodes sends heartfelt message to WWE fans ahead of RAW

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shared a heartfelt update today on social media. The American Nightmare is scheduled to defend the title against Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin at the end of the month.

Rhodes made an appearance at Fanatics Fest over the weekend to meet many members of the WWE Universe. He took to social media after the experience and delivered a heartwarming message today. The SmackDown star noted that he had a great time at the event, and seeing the fans made the hectic travel schedule worth it.

"#FanaticsFest was an absolute blast! Want to thank @michaelrubin and the incredible people at @Fanatics for all the love. Had a crazy grind this weekend, but seeing all the smiles from the @WWE Universe make loops like this worth it every time ❤️," he wrote.

Cody Rhodes successfully defended his title against Solo Sikoa in the main event of SummerSlam earlier this month. Roman Reigns returned at the end of the show and cost Solo Sikoa the match.

Bill Apter predicts surprise during Cody Rhodes' match at WWE Bash in Berlin

Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter believes Kevin Owens could snap on the road to WWE Bash in Berlin.

Speaking on a recent episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Apter stated that Owens' character is "very volatile." He claimed the former Universal Champion could potentially turn heel soon and added that he does not see The Prizefighter capturing the title at the Premium Live Event.

"So I think it's gonna be some sort of an outcome that might either turn Cody against him in the American Nightmare division, or it might turn Kevin Owens heel again. He might just go crazy on Cody. But I don't think the title's gonna change hands in Berlin." [1:58 onwards]
