Cody Rhodes sends a message after major 'WWE' announcement

WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes recently took to social media to send a message after a major announcement outside the world of pro wrestling. Rhodes is currently one of the biggest babyfaces of the Triple-H-led promotion.

After making a huge impact in All Elite Wrestling, Cody Rhodes returned to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2022 and quickly became a fan favorite. The audience even rejected The Rock seemingly taking Rhodes' WrestleMania XL spot as they wanted The American Nightmare to finish his story by dethroning Roman Reigns. Since winning the Undisputed WWE Championship, the 39-year-old has been a workhorse. He is now set to defend his gold against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam.

WWE recently partnered with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone Season 5 to feature some of the biggest wrestling names as playable characters, including Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and Rey Mysterio.

The American Nightmare recently took to X/Twitter to react to his first in-game bundle now being available, which includes his operator skin and two blueprints. Rhodes tagged both companies with fireworks emojis, showcasing his excitement for the major announcement.

Jim Cornette believes an unlikely name could return to Cody Rhodes' aid against The Bloodline at WWE SummerSlam

During an edition of the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, the wrestling veteran said that he believed Cody Rhodes' former rival Brock Lesnar could come to his aid against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline at SummerSlam.

"I think it's early for that right now. If only because The Bloodline, all the new guys, need to be established more before they get into the ring with Brock. [...] If Brock Lesnar, if that music hit to save Cody Rhodes, it would be massive. Yeah, I agree with that," he said.
