Cody Rhodes sends a message before Roman Reigns' return to WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes sent out a message before Roman Reigns' return to WWE SmackDown. The Original Tribal Chief is scheduled to return to the blue brand tonight.

At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Reigns returned during the main event between Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. He assisted Rhodes in retaining the Undisputed WWE Championship. The American Nightmare previously dethroned The Original Tribal Chief to win the title at WrestleMania XL.

On Twitter/X, Rhodes shared the details regarding his upcoming WWE appearances at live events. He also hyped up tonight's episode of SmackDown.

"Just to clear up any confusion… I’ll be at #FFNYC and the LE in Fort Myers! Can’t wait to see y’all at both! But first…Tulsa, OK… what do we want to talk about tonight? #SmackDown," wrote Rhodes.

Matt Camp predicted Roman Reigns will face both The Rock and Cody Rhodes

Matt Camp has predicted that Roman Reigns will cross paths with Cody Rhodes once again. He also believes the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will face The Rock.

Speaking on The Wrestling Matt podcast, Camp stated that both Reigns vs. Rhodes and Reigns vs. The Rock are money matches. He said:

"Is Cody [vs.] Roman happening this year? Is Cody [vs.] Roman happening at WrestleMania? A lot of you are bringing up The Rock, absolutely. Cody is a babyface. Roman is a babyface. I don't know if Rock [vs.] Reigns makes more sense than Rock [vs.] Cody. I don't. They're gonna both happen. There's too much money," Matt Camp said. [14:06 - 14:30]

Rhodes and Reigns have already faced each other twice in WWE since The American Nightmare's return to the company. Their first meeting was at WrestleMania 39 when Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship controversially. Their rematch occurred at WrestleMania XL in a Bloodline Rules Match.
