Cody Rhodes' sister makes bold statement on WWE Bash in Berlin match

The inaugural WWE Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event opened up with a raucaus crowd cheering on Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. Cody's sister, Teil Rhodes, echoed feedback from the fans in her post-match statement.

The American Nightmare opened Bash in Berlin by retaining the Undisputed WWE Championship over The Prizefighter. The former tag team partners battled for just over 23 minutes, and Owens ended up focusing on Cody's potential knee injury storyline.

Rhodes and KO were seemingly praised for their work for the most part by the WWE Universe. Teil, who is half-sister to Dustin Rhodes, took to X (fka Twitter) to issue a three-word statement on the performance put on by Owens and her younger brother.

"Stunning match. Classic," Teil Rhodes wrote.

Tonight's match was suggested by The American Nightmare after Owens and Randy Orton helped save him from Solo Sikoa's group in his Bloodline Rules win over the latter at SummerSlam, earlier this month. Owens denied the offer because of his recent own win-loss record, but the champion insisted and had the match made finally.

Bash in Berlin marked the third singles bout between Rhodes and KO. The first saw Cody win in a RAW dark match on April 4, 2022. Two weeks later, he defeated Owens by count-out on RAW.
