This year's presidential election in the United States took a major turn this afternoon as Joe Biden dropped out of the race. The American Nightmare often dresses in suits, and apparently, some fans believe he is destined to be a politician.
After Joe Biden announced that he would be dropping out of the race, a wrestling fan sent a message to Rhodes on social media. The fan said it was time for Rhodes to step up, and the 39-year-old had an interesting response. He appeared to suggest that politics could be in his future down the line.
"Maybe one day," wrote Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens defeated Grayson Waller and Austin Theory in the main event of this past Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown. However, The Bloodline attacked the champion once again and put him through the announce table to close the show.
Former WWE writer suggests Cody Rhodes should pitch creative ideas
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo believes Cody Rhodes should start pitching his own ideas to the company's creative team.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend claimed Rhodes' momentum has cooled off, but he is still making a ton of money. Russo suggested he bring ideas to the creative team to better his title reign.
"We can look at this and say, 'Cody's cooled off, he hasn't had any angles.' Yeah, and guess what, bro? Cody's making a ton of money. Period. He's making a ton of money. But if I'm Cody and I am not satisfied with creative, bro, I'm bringing them creative. I'm bringing them an A and a B and a C of something that I'd really, really like to do. I am bringing them creative," said Russo. [2:51 – 3:18]
