Cody Rhodes has two-word reaction to WWE live event in Germany

Cody Rhodes has shared a two-word message following a WWE Live Event in Germany today.

The promotion held a live event today at the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany. The American Nightmare was in action despite being banged up this past Monday night on RAW. Rhodes interrupted The Judgment Day during the opening segment of the red brand but fell victim to a brutal attack.

Damian Priest bashed Rhodes' ankle with a steel chair, and the 38-year-old superstar was hobbling around the rest of the night. Rhodes attacked The Judgment Day at the end of the show and is scheduled to battle Damian Priest in a singles match on November 4 at WWE Crown Jewel.

Following his victory over The Miz at the event today in Munich, Rhodes took to social media to share a two-word reaction about his experience in Germany.

"Lovely night," he posted.

Rhodes added that his next stop is Cologne, Germany, as seen in his post below.

WWE legend Teddy Long on Cody Rhodes having a match against SmackDown GM Nick Aldis

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long recently suggested that Cody Rhodes should have a match against SmackDown GM Nick Aldis.

Rhodes and Aldis had a rivalry back in the day and competed against each other at All In 2018. Rhodes captured the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in the match but dropped the title a few months later.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long suggested that the company slowly build toward another match between Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes. Long added that WWE should also make an effort to inform fans about their history together in other promotions.

"Here's a guy [Nick Aldis] that's in charge. Is his rival Cody Rhodes or whoever it is? Maybe he has to make a decision on them. Then they go back to him and go like, 'Hey, Nick, you remember when? You remember when we rode.' Just go back to that. Now, they are expecting him to do a favor due to the old time's sake. 'When we rode together, broke bread together.' But Nick doesn't do that. This is a different time and era. They you get in your story when he's trying to screw somebody. Then maybe they attack him in his office, or when he's ready to get in his car, they ambush him. You gotta get in there." [4:45 - 5:25]
