Cody Rhodes will lose the Undisputed WWE Championship before major PLE, predicts Chris Van Vliet
Popular TV host & podcaster Chris Van Vliet recently addressed the future of Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship reign. He predicted that The American Nightmare would lose the title ahead of a massive premium live event.
Rhodes captured the Undisputed WWE Championship last April after defeating Roman Reigns on night two of WrestleMania 40, ending The Original Tribal Chief's historic 1316 days reign. He has since successfully defended his title against several top superstars, including AJ Styles, Solo Sikoa, and Logan Paul. While many expect the 39-year-old to continue holding the championship into 2025, Chris Van Vliet thinks the same.
However, the 41-year-old predicted on his Insight podcast that The American Nightmare would drop the title ahead of WrestleMania 41:
"Seems like, unless things start to change, seems like he could be the champion going into next year. And then he could possibly be the champion going into WrestleMania. Otherwise, my gut tells me that that's not gonna be the case. I think he loses it to somebody else," he said. [From 25:25 to 25:40]

WWE legend Rikishi thinks Solo Sikoa could dethrone Cody Rhodes
Over the past few months, Solo Sikoa has challenged Cody Rhodes twice for the Undisputed WWE Championship after pinning him at Money in the Bank in a six-man tag team match. However, the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief failed to capture the title.
Speaking on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the Hall of Famer suggested Sikoa could be the one to end The American Nightmare's reign after he recently pinned Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel:
"Solo's a made man. You know, for that to happen, there's definitely we see plans within this kid that, you know, what can be the next level for him? You know, we talked about does he need a belt. Well, after this one, two, three on Roman, I almost kinda, you know, I can see maybe Solo be the one to take it off of Cody. Cuz I talked about maybe Roman will come back and take it off of Cody, you know, but after seeing that, you beat the GOAT. You beat the GOAT and I believe it was two spikes, two or three, whatever it was, right? But, you know, now, it's like, 'Okay, you beat the GOAT, now you're considered the GOAT,'" he said.
It would be interesting to see if Rhodes would hold the Undisputed WWE Championship until WrestleMania 41. He is currently rumored to square off against The Rock and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat match at the upcoming Show of Shows.
