Condolences to WWE legend Batista
WWE legend Batista recently took to social media to share heartbreaking news about his family member. The former World Heavyweight Champion penned a heartfelt message after his dog, Ollie, unfortunately passed away.
Batista joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2000 and started performing for the company's then-developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). After being called up to the main roster, he quickly became famous because of his in-ring abilities and went on to win several titles, including the WWE Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, and the Tag Team Championships.
However, the star has now shifted his career to Hollywood and has become one of the biggest stars in the movie industry.
This is an extremely sad time for Batista's family as the legend's dog, Ollie, has passed away. The 55-year-old recently took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message for his family member, writing how the dog made everyone happy around him.
The former World Heavyweight Champion also shared stories about Ollie before expressing his love for him.
"In loving memory of my sweet baby boy. He fought with everything he had. I hope I made him as happy as he made me. Thank you to everybody who gave him a smile, a kind word, a loving message or a pat on the head. He loved people, he loved animals, he loved his sisters (mostly Maggie🥹) he loved sunbathing, he loved stealing everyone’s toys and more than anything he loved bedtime. Goodnight Ollie. We love you 💔," he wrote.

Former WWE star believes Batista is a better actor than The Rock
During an edition of Vlad TV, former WWE Superstar Maven said that he believed Batista was the best wrestler, who pivoted his career towards acting.
Maven also mentioned that he believed the 55-year-old was a better actor than The Rock before praising John Cena's work in Hollywood.
"I think he's the best wrestler turned actor. A thousand times better than The Rock. [John] Cena's good; he's good; he's a great comedic actor."
Many fans want Dave Bautista to return to WWE for another stint inside the squared circle. It will be interesting to see what the legend has planned for his future in the pro wrestling world.
