"Congrats to Booker T" - 36-year-old star who emulated The Rock in WWE sends a message

WWE legend Booker T is doing a phenomenal job as a commentator, and a 36-year-old star who recently emulated The Rock sent a message to the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. This was none other than Joe Hendry.

The Great One held a live on-air concert on WWE SmackDown earlier this year. He became the first superstar to do so in 2024.

TNA star Hendry became the second such star to do so on an episode of NXT earlier this week. During his concert, he mentioned some legends of the game, naming Shawn Michaels and Booker T.

During his performance, he showed a clip of Booker T on the screen wearing a kilt on the big screen and called him the new 'President' of the Joe Hendry fan club. Joe Hendry took to X later to post a congratulatory message for Booker T for becoming the 'President' of his fan club.

"Congrats to @BookerT5x on becoming the new President of the Joe Hendry fan club πŸ‘ πŸ‘," Hendry wrote.

The Rock has paved the way for many top stars over the years. Joe Hendry is another star who has seemingly followed The Great One’s footsteps to present a memorable segment for the WWE Universe.

Veteran believes The Rock could defeat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship

The Great One played a massive role in the build-up to WrestleMania XL. He lost his planned match against Roman Reigns to Cody Rhodes but pinned The American Nightmare to win a tag team match while teaming with Roman.

Bully Ray believed that The Rock needed to return to WWE as a full-blown heel. He remarked that The Great One should be the one to defeat Cody for the Undisputed WWE Championship, only for The American Nightmare to win it back at WrestleMania.

"I believe [The] Rock needs to come back as a full-blown heel. I think most would agree with that (...) If The Rock wants to come back as this babyface, then who in the living hell is Cody's heel? You need a top-notch heel for Cody Rhodes. It can't be Randy [Orton] right now. If you bring back [The] Rock and Roman [Reigns] and you make them babyfaces and Randy is your top heel, it feels like an uphill battle (...) I would enjoy seeing The Rock defeat Cody Rhodes with the intention of The Rock dropping it back to Cody at 'Mania."

WWE fans will have to wait and see what the future holds for the legend. The Rock possibly still has a few matches left in him judging by his performances at WrestleMania XL this year.
