Congratulations to former WWE Superstar SCRYPTS

Former WWE Superstar SCRYPTS has shared a personal update on Instagram. The 31-year-old has announced the birth of his daughter.

Earlier this year, Sidney Akeem, popularly known as Reggie or SCRYPTS in the Stamford-based promotion, left the company when his contract expired in June 2024. The 31-year-old star quickly landed on his feet as he began working on the independent circuit.

On Instagram, Akeem announced the birth of his daughter today. He revealed his daughter's name and penned a heartfelt message upon becoming a girl dad.

"Last night @leismother our baby girl Mia was born at 28 weeks, she came out strong and healthy. We are forever grateful, We prayed for good health and GOD delivered as he always does. πŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏ," Akeem wrote.

Reggie primarily competed for the 24/7 Title on the main roster, capturing the gold on four occasions. He later debuted a new gimmick in NXT, performing on the brand between 2022 and 2024.

What did Scrypts, aka Reggie, do in WWE?

Reggie received a break on WWE's main roster when he appeared on Friday Night SmackDown as Carmella's sommelier. Later, he moved to Monday Night RAW, working on storylines for the 24/7 Title. He was also involved in a romantic angle with Dana Brooke involving the now-defunct championship.

Later, the 31-year-old star went to the developmental brand and received a new gimmick and a fresh moniker called SCRYPTS. Sadly, his run as the masked character ended when Axiom unmasked him and formed a tag team. After a short run in NXT's tag team division, he turned on Axiom.

After the betrayal, he created Out The Mud (O.T.M.) alongside Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. The trio eventually added Jaida Parker to the mix. He mostly worked as Nima and Price's manager before leaving WWE in June 2024.

We at Sportskeeda Wrestling extend our most sincere congratulations to Sidney Akeem and his family on this wonderful news.
