Congratulations to Randy Orton on monumental 20-year WWE milestone

Randy Orton has been in WWE since 2000 and has become one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. Orton recently reached a monumental 20-year milestone, continuing to hold the record for being the youngest superstar to win a World Championship in the Stamford-based company.

The Viper has wrestling in his blood, being a third-generation superstar. He's the son of WWE Hall of Famer "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. and the grandson of Bob Orton Sr. He signed a developmental deal with WWE back in 2000 and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling. The Apex Predator got to work with other future legends such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Batista during his time in OVW.

Orton was called up to the main roster in 2002 before getting his big break a year later when he joined Triple H, Ric Flair, and Batista to form Evolution. He went on to become the youngest World Heavyweight Championship at the age of 24 when he defeated Chris Benoit at SummerSlam 2004.

It has been 20 years since but Randy Orton still continues to hold the record for being the youngest World Champion in history. For those wondering, Brock Lesnar is second in line as he won the WWE Champion at the age of 25.

Orton's first World Title reign would end the next month when he lost the championship to Triple H at Unforgiven. The Legend Killer was able to bounce back and went on to win a total of 14 WWE World Championships throughout his career.

Randy Orton is looking to win his 15th World Championship at WWE Bash in Berlin

At the age of 44, Randy Orton is still at the top of his game despite an injury scare that cost him 18 months of his career. Orton will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Bash in Berlin at the end of the month.

The Viper got the opportunity after pointing out to Gunther that his shoulders were up when he lost in the King of the Ring finals. The Ring General accepted the challenge and things began to heat up last Monday when Orton hit the champion with an RKO.

Bash in Berlin is a historic event because it's the first-ever WWE premium live event to be held in Germany. The event will take place at the Uber Arena on August 31, 2024.
