Congratulations to WWE Superstar Bayley

WWE Superstar Bayley continues to add more accolades to her illustrious resume. After her impressive win on SmackDown last night, she tied Natalya for the most wins in WWE women's history.

The Role Model has had a rough couple of months as she failed to reclaim the WWE Women's Championship that she lost to Nia Jax at SummerSlam this year. However, the introduction of the Women's United States Championship has allowed the 35-year-old superstar to get her hands on a title again.

On this week's episode of SmackDown, Bayley defeated B-Fab and Candice LeRae in a Triple Threat match to advance in the ongoing tournament to crown the inaugural Women's United States Champion.

Her latest triumph marked the 684th win of her WWE career, tying Natalya's record for the most victories by a female star in the history of the Stamford-based promotion. The fan-favorite superstar signed with WWE in 2012 and hasn't looked back ever since.

Will Bayley become the first-ever WWE Women's United States Champion?

On a recent edition of the Behind The Turnbuckle: The War Room podcast, Jonathan Coachman said WWE wouldn't put the title on Bayley due to her ties with Mercedes Mone, who has been working for AEW.

"Part of the reason Bayley won't [win the title] is because her and Mercedes Mone, they keep doing the whole, 'She's my best friend. I love her to death. And we still talk all the time.' And as much as I would love for the thought process that the executives don't care about that, Tommy [Carlucci], we know they're petty. We know they're petty. And they don't want [her] interacting with Mercedes Mone, the big free agent. So, they're never gonna give it to her," he said.

The Role Model will now go on to face the winner of the Triple Threat match between Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and Blair Davenport in the semi-finals.
