Congratulations to WWE Superstar Braun Strowman!
Braun Strowman recently returned to WWE SmackDown after he was injured by Bronson Reed earlier this year. It seems that it was in time to celebrate a major anniversary.
Strowman signed with WWE in 2013 and appeared in NXT several times under various guises before his official debut on December 19th, 2014, when he defeated Chad Gable at an NXT Live Event in Jacksonville Florida.
That means that today marks his ten-year anniversary with WWE! In that time the former Universal Champion was a prominent member of The Wyatt Family and climbed the ranks in the company to be seen as The Monster of all Monsters and one of the biggest threats of the current generation.
Unlike many stars celebrating 10 years in WWE, Strowman had a year away from the company when he was released in 2021 before he was re-signed in 2022.
Braun Strowman is now a WWE SmackDown Superstar
Braun Strowman made a name for himself on RAW ahead of his Last Monster Standing Match back in September when he defeated Bronson Reed but tore his groin in the process.
Strowman was able to finish the match but was out of action for several months and only recently returned on SmackDown as Carmelo Hayes' mystery opponent.
The commentary team noted that Strowman was making his first appearance as a SmackDown star. Since the transfer window is now open, and while there have been several teases, the moves can also be made official.
Strowman's move to SmackDown is now official and it's unclear if he will continue to feud with Hayes in the coming months or pick up a feud that would push him towards another championship.
