Chelsea Green hasn't had the best luck over the past few weeks after insisting that she would win the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match. In the match, she was instead thrown through two tables as Tiffany Stratton reached for the contract instead.
Green may not have the best win-loss record with WWE at the moment, but she is definitely winning outside of the ring. It seems that her relationship with former star Matt Cardona who was known as Zack Ryder has now been taken to the next level.
The former Intercontinental Champion took to Instagram to share that construction had finally begun on their new home. The couple married back in 2021 after dating for several years and have now decided to build their own home.
Following his WWE release, Cardona has been making quite a name for himself on the Independent Circuit and is a name that many fans believe will be making his return in the near future.
Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona wants to be part of John Cena's retirement tour
John Cena announced that his retirement tour would be taking place throughout 2025. Many names have since stepped up to make it clear that they want to face Cena before he walks away from the ring.
One man who has stepped up is Matt Cardona who was part of several storylines with Cena whilst he was wrestling as Zack Ryder. Cardona has shared several updates claiming one final match with Cena would be seen as long-term storytelling and it could now be his foot in the door when it comes to finally returning to the company.
While his wife is arguably one of the best characters in the Women's Division at present, fans have been pushing for him to make his return with his current persona.
