Congratulations to WWE Superstar Sheamus!
Sheamus has been a part of WWE for nearly two decades, during which he has won numerous titles. The Celtic Warrior has now achieved a major accomplishment outside the squared circle.
The Irish star has been a part of the pro wrestling industry for over 20 years. He signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2007. The Celtic Warrior moved to the main roster in 2009 and took just 166 days to capture his first world title in the company. However, the 46-year-old has now transitioned into a veteran role and is often used as a stepping stone for younger talents.
Aside from pro wrestling, the former WWE Champion also runs a YouTube channel, Celtic Warrior Workouts, where he posts videos of his workouts with multiple WWE stars in addition to other content. Congratulations are in order for the RAW Superstar, as his channel has now reached one million subscribers.
Sheamus suffered two major setbacks in WWE this week
Sheamus has had a week to forget so far as the superstar has suffered back-to-back setbacks in his last two matches. The Celtic Warrior was part of a Fatal Four-Way Match against Damian Priest, Seth Rollins, and Dominik Mysterio on RAW to determine the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
However, Sheamus failed to get over the line as Damian Priest pinned Dominik Mysterio to pick up the win. On Wednesday, the Irishman's match against Bron Breakker in the semi-final of the WWE Speed Title Number One Contender's Tournament ended in a draw.
As a result, both men were eliminated from the tournament.
Sheamus was recently involved in short feuds with Pete Dunne and Ludwig Kaiser. He came out on top in both rivalries. However, the 46-year-old has not been involved in any notable program since his rivalry with Gunther.
The Celtic Warrior's last premium live event appearance came at SummerSlam 2023, where he was a part of the Slim Jim Battle Royal. It has also been a long time since he won a title in the company.
