Tommaso Ciampa reveals major achievement outside of WWE

Tommaso Ciampa appears to be having a fantastic run both inside and outside of the ring at the moment. He was recently able to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Johnny Gargano following a victory over A-Town Down Under on SmackDown. The 39-year-old announced earlier today that he's now a member of DunKings.

The current Tag Team Champion shared the news on Instagram, and this now means that he has become part of a team that includes Hollywood stars such as Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and NFL star Tom Brady.

The DunKings first appeared in early 2024 as a way for Affleck to be featured in his wife's music video and have since expanded, and now it seems Tommaso Ciampa has been included.

The former NXT star was seen in the bright orange outfit ahead of last week's SmackDown, which led to speculation that he had signed a deal with DunKings. On Instagram, he posted a series of photos and even posed with his daughter, Willow.

Ciampa made it clear that he was proud to bring another title home to Boston after winning the Tag Team Championship from A-Town Down on July 5, 2024.

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano have seemingly moved on from Theory and Waller on WWE SmackDown

Following their title win almost two weeks ago, #DIY was forced to take on Waller and Theory this past week on SmackDown after the former champions invoked their re-match clause.

Gargano and Ciampa retained their WWE Tag Team Title in the rematch and are now expected to move forward on SmackDown.

The decorated tag team suffered a vicious beatdown at the hands of The Bloodline's Jacob Fatu on SmackDown last week. Following a brutal assault at the hands of The Samoan Werewolf last Friday, #DIY could enter into a feud with The Bloodline ahead of The Biggest Party of The Summer.

It will be interesting to see if Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa go after the heel faction on this week's edition of the blue brand.
