Controversial finish to major title match; WWE show ends in massive brawl

A major WWE title match ended controversially, with the champion retaining. Following the bout, a massive brawl broke out to close the show.

Kelani Jordan has been considered the future of the women's division since her debut in WWE NXT. She proved that true when she became the first NXT Women's North American Champion. She held the title for an impressive 140 days before she lost to Fallon Henley at Halloween Havoc 2024. Since then, Kelani has been waiting for a rematch, and she got the chance tonight.

Jordan was set to face Henley for the title tonight on WWE NXT. Ahead of the match, the former Women's North American Champion was interviewed backstage when she said she had been waiting for a rematch for a long time. She was interrupted by Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx, who told her they would do anything to ensure Fallon Henley retains her title.

They stayed true to their word as Jordan was about to win when Jayne put Henley's foot on the rope, breaking up the pinfall. Nyx got on the apron but was taken out by the former Women's North American Champion. This distraction allowed Jacy to get a cheap shot on Jordan, and Henley retained her title after hitting the Famouser.

Following the match, all the teams vying for the men's tag title opportunity got involved in a physical brawl to close the show.

It will be interesting to see if Kelani Jordan will get another rematch after tonight's controversial outcome.
