Cora Jade makes surprising request following WWE star’s release

WWE Superstar Cora Jade made a surprising request to a recently released superstar. She herself made a return from injury last month to help Roxanne Perez defend the NXT Women's Championship against Giulia.

On November 1, the Stamford-based wrestling promotion released SmackDown Superstar Indi Hartwell, along with Baron Corbin and Tegan Nox. Hartwell has shared the ring with Jade during her run as the NXT Women's Champion.

Hartwell recently uploaded her first video on YouTube. The 28-year-old took to her Instagram account earlier today to promote her video, asking her followers to watch and engage with it.

"MY FIRST YOUTUBE VIDEO IS UP! Go watch, comment, like, subscribe. The link is in my bio ‼️😘🫶," she wrote.

"Can I have your gear?" wrote Jade.

Cora Jade believes time on the independent circuit before joining WWE helped her

At the age of just 23 years, Cora Jade has become an integral part of NXT's Women's roster. Interestingly, she had already appeared in multiple major promotions, including TNA and AEW, before joining WWE in 2021.

During a conversation with Nick Hausman, Jade claimed she was grateful for her time outside the global juggernaut. The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion stated that she wanted to experience the Indies just like the superstars she watched while growing up. Cora added that she learned several things while competing on the independent circuit.

"I feel like it definitely helped me, and I'm so grateful for all my time on the indies. I feel like I got to work with a lot of people and a lot of people helped me get here. And I feel I wanted the indie experience. Obviously WWE was always my goal, my end goal, but I grew up watching CM Punk, Jon Moxley, Daniel Bryan, all these people who came up through the indies. So I always wanted that indie experience and I wanted to work my way up, work through all these different companies. So I think it did help me a lot. And there's a lot of things I still take with me to this day that I learned on the indies. So I'm very grateful for that," she said.

Cora Jade has competed only twice since her return from injury. Unfortunately, the WWE Superstar lost both the tag team matches she wrestled.
