Cora Jade sends cryptic warning to current WWE champion
Cora Jade has shared a cryptic warning to a current champion in WWE on social media today. The promotion will be hosting WWE Money in the Bank and NXT Heatwave this weekend in Toronto, Canada.
Former NXT Tag Team Champion Cora Jade suffered a torn ACL during a match against Lyra Valkyria during a house show in January, earlier this year. She has not returned to the ring yet but hinted that she could be going after the white and gold brand's Women's Champion, Roxanne Perez, today on her X (formerly Twitter) account.
Jade shared pictures of her attacking Perez in the past with an hourglass emoji in the caption. You can check out the cryptic message in the post below.
Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade captured the tag titles together in 2022. The NXT Women's Champion will be defending her title against Lola Vince this Sunday at Heatwave. Cora Jade sent another message earlier today claiming that she would not be showing up at the white and gold brand's premium live event this weekend.
Cora Jade reveals she wants to join major WWE faction
NXT star Cora Jade recently shared that she would be open to joining The Judgment Day faction. The heel group has become a popular faction on WWE RAW.
The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh captured the World Tag Team Championship last month thanks to a distraction from Liv Morgan. Damian Priest will be defending his title tomorrow night against Seth Rollins and will be forced to leave the faction if he fails to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.
Speaking with Sony Sports Network's Extraaa Dhamaal show, Jade noted that sometimes families fight and that The Judgment Day will likely resolve their issues soon. She also teased the possibility of joining the faction down the line saying she could think of joining the family sometime in the future.
"Maybe one day I'll be able to join that family. We'll see."
NXT Heatwave will feature five title matches this Sunday night. Only time will tell if WWE has any surprises in store for fans at the premium live event this weekend.
