Cruel prank drowns WWE Superstar Sami Zayn in a sea of notifications
WWE Superstar Sami Zayn has been involved in an extended feud with Johnny Knoxville for the last few months, and the two have left no stone unturned in getting under each other's skin.
Zayn recently discovered Knoxville's personal cell number and sent him multiple messages intending to harass his WrestleMania opponent. The Jackass franchise star came up with a surprising retaliation.
He hired a plane to fly a banner with Sami Zayn's phone number across Los Angeles. This led to the former Intercontinental Champion's private contact being released to the public. To make things worse, WWE aired the footage on SmackDown last week, and now the number has reached countless people.
As a result, many have started texting and calling Zayn relentlessly. Some have even gone as far as facetiming him, and he is struggling to keep his phone alive. He recently shared multiple updates on the consequences of Knoxville's expensive prank and shared how his phone hasn't been quiet for a single minute in over eleven hours.
Sami Zayn put up posts desperately asking people to stop calling and texting him, but that has only encouraged WWE fans and other viewers to keep up with the prank. It would be safe to say that the calls and messages won't end anytime soon, and he will have to find another way out of his current misery.
Sami Zayn seeks revenge against Johnny Knoxville at WWE WrestleMania 38
While Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville share a recent yet bitter history, the latter took their feud to a whole other level when he cost Zayn his Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet.
Knoxville's timely interference allowed Ricochet to dethrone Zayn as a champion and win gold for the first time on SmackDown.
The latest episode of the blue brand saw Sami Zayn and Ricochet clash in a title rematch. However, the champion prevailed in the main event, and this time he didn't need outside help.
While Zayn is once again working on a rivalry with a celebrity, he deserves credit for giving his best to make this feud interesting on the road to WrestleMania.
