Current champion claims Rhea Ripley is "obsessed" with her
Rhea Ripley is currently feuding with a top champion. This champion has now claimed that The Nightmare is "obsessed" with her.
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley have been feuding for a year, starting when the latter injured Morgan's shoulder last year. When Morgan returned from injury, she targeted Ripley, thereby kickstarting her revenge tour.
Liv Morgan injured Rhea, forcing her to relinquish her Women's World Championship. As if that wasn't enough, she got Dominik Mysterio to turn on Mami at WWE SummerSlam. Since then, Rhea has been trying to do everything she can to regain the Women's World Championship. Ripley has gotten close to getting her hands on Liv several times, but Dominik has always made the save.
During a recent interview on The Schmo, Liv Morgan was asked why she allows Rhea to get too close to her. Morgan denied allowing Rhea to get too close but claimed that Mami was obsessed with her since she took everything from her.
"You know what, I don't let her get too close. I think she's obsessed. I'm a little bit worried about her. I beat her already, twice. She will not leave me and Daddy Dom alone. So, I don't know what to do at this point. I'm not letting her close. I think she just is maybe still in love with Dominik, upset at me for stealing Dominik, and for taking her title, and for taking the Judgment Day. You know, I'd hate me too if I were her," Liv said. Liv Morgan explains why she decided to end Dominik Mysterio's relationship with Rhea Ripley
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley were an onscreen pair for more than a year. They were always seen together backstage and during matches. Ripley would always help Dom out during his matches. However, that all changed earlier this year once Liv got in his ear. This resulted in him turning on Mami at WWE SummerSlam.
During a recent interview with Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Liv Morgan explained why she decided to interfere in Dom's relationship with Rhea Ripley.
"He was in a relationship with Rhea Ripley, my biggest number one enemy. She injured me. She tore my shoulder. So while I was out, I pretty much plotted my revenge tour. The sole purpose was to come back and take away everything that Rhea loved. So at first, I wanted to make Rhea upset and wanted to steal Dominik to make her upset. As I started spending more time with him, I was like, 'Man, that mustache. I kind of really started enjoying him. It turned something real for me," Morgan said.
It will be interesting to see how long Dominik Mysterio's relationship with Liv Morgan lasts.
