Current champion praises Sami Zayn for his work outside WWE
Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn will face Bron Breakker at Money in the Bank later this week. Before the big match, the former decided to cool off with some work outside WWE that has earned him a lot of praise.
Now, Bayley has also praised him for a non-WWE project. Sami Zayn is arguably one of the company's most entertaining characters. His ticket to the top was his alliance with The Bloodline, which allowed him to showcase his mic and in-ring skills to the world. The Intercontinental Champion has also dipped his toes into the world of stand-up comedy. His latest show, Sami Zayn & Friends Do Toronto, recently took place before one of WWE's biggest premium live events of the year, Money in the Bank.
Current WWE Women's Champion Bayley was among the stars who praised Sami's work on the mic. On X, she posted the following in support of Zayn.
"I’m so damn proud and impressed by @SamiZayn! What a fun show," she wrote.
The Master Strategist has been doing well on the RAW brand, where he is among the veterans. He could give younger stars a good push in the coming years while trying to win his first world title in the company.
Bron Breakker could defeat Sami Zayn at WWE Money in the Bank
The biggest test of Sami Zayn's current title reign will be his match against former NXT Champion Bron Breakker. The former Bloodline member defeated the mighty Gunther to win the title, but now he will have to face one of the few men who have also pinned The Ring General. For those unaware, Breakker defeated Gunther in the latter's last match on NXT (April 5, 2022) to retain the NXT Title.
Now, Breakker wants to destroy the entire RAW roster to prove himself and win some titles. The creative team seems to have a lot of fate in the 26-year-old who has made a name for himself as a destructive force in the company.
A win at Money in the Bank will surely put Breakker on the map as a top guy in the company. Meanwhile, Sami could drop the title to move into the World Heavyweight Championship picture opposite Damian Priest if the latter defeats Seth Rollins to retain.
