Current world champion outside WWE cautions Bobby Lashley: "He is not taking it from me" (Exclusive)
All the signs suggest that Bobby Lashley might not return to WWE, and one of his former rivals, EC3, is prepared for a potential showdown. However, the reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion is confident of beating Lashley in a possible title match.
The discussions over the past few weeks in wrestling have been mainly about Bobby Lashley's future, as he was removed from WWE's internal roster, although he is still not completely done with the Stamford-based company.
He and former stablemate, MVP aren't expected to re-sign with WWE, opening the doors to a possible Hurt Business reunion. As many wrestlers have done in the past, the possibility of Bobby Lashley going on a mission to capture titles outside of WWE.
During the latest episode of The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 admitted he liked the idea of Bobby Lashley going on an "escapade of gold" and becoming a belt collector.
Carter, who has held the prestigious NWA championship since August 2023, cautioned Lashley that if he chose to arrive in the promotion, Bobby better not have any aspirations of becoming world champion.
"The escapade of gold or something? If he comes to NWA, he is not taking it from me," said EC3. [From 5:30 onwards]

EC3 wants former WWE stars like Bobby Lashley to "fly" and not be put in a box
It doesn't take long for AEW to enter the conversation as soon as a talent looks to leave WWE. That is, however, something EC3 is not a fan of.
Carter explained that it wasn't right to assume AEW was the only place for former WWE stars, as he even alluded to claims that Tony Khan "owns" his talent. The NWA star preferred unpredictability in pro wrestling and wanted talents like Lashley and others to expand their horizons as performers and not be stuck to minimum options.
"Why are we assuming Tony Khan owns them? There is a talk for that, Chris, and we don't like saying that around here. Come on, let these birds fly, let them fly, let them just rock and roll. Why do we have to always put them in this minuscule box? Out of this place, they are going to go here," he said. [7:04 - 7:30]
Bobby Lashley's WWE status remains a mystery currently, but his fans should ideally get a much-needed update soon on his wrestling future. Stay tuned to find out!
