Current World Champion "would love to wrestle" WWE's Bron Breakker and Gunther
WWE has opened the door for potential crossovers with different promotions recently. Meanwhile, current TNA World Champion Moose stated he would love to wrestle stars such Bron Breakker and Gunther.
The locker room drastically changed following WWE Draft 2024 when several top names joined Monday Night RAW. While Gunther stayed with the red brand, Bron Breakker was moved to WWE RAW after WrestleMania XL.
During an appearance on K & S WrestleFest, current TNA World Champion Moose was asked about the potential crossover between the Stamford-based promotion and TNA Wrestling. The star stated he would love to wrestle Bron Breakker and Gunther from the main roster.
"That’s actually two guys that I would love to wrestle, especially Bron Breakker. We have similar backgrounds. We were both football players, and now we’re doing the thing we love in pro wrestling," Moose said.
The star continued to praise Breakker and spoke about Gunther as another opponent.
"Gunther is a guy that when he was in the indies, we never touched, which was very surprising because that was a lot of people’s dream match. He’s definitely somebody else I would love to lock horns with. I think it would be a great matchup," Moose said. [H/T - Fightful]
Gunther earned a world title shot at WWE SummerSlam 2024
Earlier this year, Gunther's undefeated streak and legendary run as the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in the company's history ended at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia.
Sami Zayn proudly left the event with the Intercontinental Championship and The Ring General went on a short hiatus subsequently. Later, Gunther returned to Monday Night RAW and declared his intentions to win the King of the Ring tournament.
After three stellar matches against Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, and Jey Uso, The Ring General made it to Saudi Arabia. In the tournament's final, he controversially defeated Randy Orton to win the tournament.
Upon winning the match, The Ring General earned a future shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2024. It will be interesting to see which star faces Gunther at the event.
