Current WWE champion fires shots at Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer amid rumors of impending debuts

WWE is known for bringing the best pro wrestling talent from across the world on its stage for fans. Recently, the Stamford-based promotion signed Stephanie Vaquer, and rumors suggest that Japan’s sensation Giulia is also on her way to the company. Amid the whispers of their impending debuts, a current titleholder has fired shots at both stars before their arrival.

Roxanne Perez has held the NXT Women’s Championship since April 6, 2024, and has overcome all challenges. She successfully defended her title this week on Night 1 of The Great American Bash after a close fight against Thea Hail.

Notably, the champion wasn’t content with just retaining her title this time, so she called out Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer on Instagram.

“Like, I'll give Thea her respect 'cause she almost had me there, but realistically, everybody needs to stop worrying about everybody else around the world. Not Thea, not Giulia, not Stephanie. NXT is the best woman's division in the world, and this is on my shoulder, which means I am the best woman in the world. That's it. Good night,” said Perez.

It is rare to see The Prodigy go after stars who have yet to impact the developmental brand. Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time Perez called out Giulia and Vaquer.

Roxanne Perez mocks the idea of new WWE stars standing against her

Roxanne Perez always claims that she is the best female star the NXT division has ever seen and that fans should treat her the same way.

However, several members of the WWE Universe speculate that The Prodigy may soon have to defend her title against Giulia or Stephanie Vaquer. Once she learned this, Roxy addressed the matter with an in-ring promo.

Roxanne laughed at the idea of the two stars stepping up as number-one contenders for her title in the future.

With the message she sent after defeating Thea Hail, Roxy has now established that she will win the hat even if they stand in her win. It would be interesting to see how The Prodigy overcomes the challenge that could soon be on her doorstep.
