Current WWE champion fires shots at The Rock's daughter Ava
WWE star Ava is one of the three current on-screen authority figures in the Stamford-based company. After serving as Shawn Michaels' assistant for a while, she was promoted to become the NXT General Manager in January 2024. At 22, she became the youngest GM in the wrestling promotion's history.
Ava was recently involved in a controversial booking decision, which led to Axiom wrestling two matches on the latest edition of NXT. The 27-year-old lost to Oba Femi in the opening contest of the night. He returned to the squared circle later to defend the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Nathan Frazer. The duo defeated Mark Coffey and Wolfgang to retain the gold.
Earlier today, Nathan Frazer took to his X/Twitter account to fire shots at Ava. The 26-year-old reshared a post claiming the NXT General Manager to be the best GM in the business. However, Frazer expressed his disagreement with the statement.
"I’m inclined to disagree," he wrote.

Ava's mother, Dany Garcia, pens down an emotional message for the WWE NXT General Manager
Ava is Dania Garcia and The Rock's only child from their marriage, which ended in 2008. On this year's National Daughter Day, Garcia took to her Instagram account to send a heartfelt message to the 23-year-old.
She praised the real-life Simone Johnson for craving her path to become the youngest WWE General Manager. Garcia further noted that she was proud of her daughter:
"MY DAUGHTER, like many Cuban women that came before her, embodies evolving strength. She has learned to show up powerfully and has cultivated her confidence, allowing her to carve her own path, and most impressively, take up space and speak her mind - Attributes that have served her well as the youngest General Manager in @WWENXT history. I am endlessly proud of my daughter, along with her fellow Gen Z Latinos (1 in 4 of all Gen Z!) who are fearlessly shaping our futures and advocating for others in the process. What’s been something your Gen Z kids or employees have taught you? I’m fascinated! #NationalDaughterDay #HispanicHeritageMonth," she wrote.

Ava's last in-ring appearance saw her lose to Ivy Nile on the August 22, 2023, edition of NXT. It was also her only singles-televised match. It will be interesting to see if she ever returns to the squared circle.
