Current WWE champion losing title soon only to pull off a shocking Royal Rumble match win could happen, says Aiden English
While WWE Royal Rumble is still a few months away, analysts, veterans, and fans have already started coming up with predictions for the marquee battle royal winners. In one of the most surprising predictions, former WWE star Matthew Rehwoldt (FKA Aiden English) has predicted that Liv Morgan would win the Women's Royal Rumble Match next year after dropping the Women's World Championship.
Morgan has been the Women's World Champion for nearly five months. She won the title at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE and has defended it successfully against the likes of Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley.
While many expect the 30-year-old to hold the title until WrestleMania 41, the erstwhile Aiden English stated on the REBOOKED Wrestling podcast that The Miracle Kid could lose her gold before Royal Rumble, only to go on and win the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble Match, thanks to The Judgment Day's shenanigans.
"I think she might lose the title before then, but with some Dominik Mysterio shenanigans [wins the Royal Rumble]. [It's] something she hasn’t done yet. I know how much they like her, and they want to see her continue to be on top. So, I can see her losing it [Women's World Championship] in wild fashion, but then, with classic Judgment Day and Dom shenanigans, she pulls that out and adds her to her resume," he said. Wrestling veteran believes former WWE Universal Champion will win the Men's Royal Rumble Match
The former Aiden English also gave his prediction for the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble Match. The former WWE Superstar noted that Kevin Owens could end up winning the 30-man gimmick match.
"I'm gonna go [with] Kevin Owens because I think it's one of the big things he hasn't done yet in WWE, and I think with this feud with Cody [Rhodes], he's being positioned for a top, so I don't feel like it's a guarantee, but I feel like it's a strong possibility this year with the way he's been part of this kind of main angle and involved with Cody and Randy," he said.
Kevin Owens turned heel after Bad Blood went off the air as he launched an attack on Cody Rhodes in the parking lot. The former Universal Champion has been embroiled in a feud with The American Nightmare since then. However, The Prizefighter is currently suspended for his actions at the premium live event.
