Current WWE champion mocks Triple H following Friday Night SmackDown
World Wrestling Entertainment, under Triple H's leadership, has started to make an impact in the field of professional wrestling. The star has taken the sport back to its glory days following a record-breaking WrestleMania in Philadelphia.
Today, one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champion, Grayson Waller, mocked The King of Kings on X (formerly Twitter). Earlier this month, The Aussie Icon and Austin Theory won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a Six-Pack Ladder match at the Show of Shows in Philadelphia.
On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, A-Town Down Under was coronated with new tag titles on the brand. The duo became the WWE Tag Team Champions of the blue brand. However, they mocked Triple H when the Chief Content Officer wanted to congratulate the team.
Today, Grayson Waller mocked the former 14-time world champion on X. The star used a line from the famous theme of the legend and shared pictures with him from last night's episode in Pittsburgh.
"It’s all about the game, and how you play it," wrote Waller.
A-Town Down Under already have challengers for their tag titles lined up as The Street Profits became the new number-one contenders for the freshly introduced WWE Tag Team Championship.
Triple H also made an appearance on WWE RAW
Triple H has made his presence felt in the new era, as the star showed up on both brands this week. Earlier this year, The King of Kings had sent a message to The Rock on Friday Night SmackDown after the WrestleMania Kickoff press event.
Unfortunately, The Game was not involved in the recently concluded feud and only appeared in the ring after Cody Rhodes captured the Undisputed WWE Championship from Roman Reigns. Later, he appeared on the red brand and spoke highly of the events that transpired at WrestleMania XL.
On the recent episode of Monday Night RAW, the Chief Content Officer made an appearance alongside Adam Pearce. The two unveiled the new World Tag Team Championship titles for The Awesome Truth, effectively retiring the RAW Tag Team Championship from weekly shows.
