Current WWE champion pushes for a reality show
In addition to its weekly wrestling shows, WWE has produced multiple reality shows over the years. With many such shows still airing, NXT Superstar Kelani Jordan believes that the Stamford-based company's developmental brand also needs a reality show.
The 25-year-old created history earlier this year at NXT Battleground by winning a Six-Way Ladder Match to become the inaugural North American Women's Champion. Jordan has been a fighting champion, having successfully defended the title against the likes of Michin, Tatum Paxley, and Sol Ruca.
Kelani Jordan recently spoke to Justin Dhillon on Casual Conversations with The Classic. In an hour-long interview, Jordan opened up about several things, including growing up as a gymnast, her initial days in WWE, winning the NXT Women's North American Championship, and more.
As the host joked about the company's developmental brand being similar to the popular reality show Love Island, Jordan pitched for a reality show for the NXT Superstars:
"Okay, low key, we need one, we need a reality show at this point [laughs]. Especially with the CW, they have a lot of love shows on there," she said. [From 55:55 onwards]
Kelani Jordan opens up about real-life relationship with fellow WWE Superstar
Kelani Jordan is in a real-life relationship with former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. The two have been together for well over a year now.
During her conversation with Dhillon, Jordan detailed meeting Hayes at the WWE Performance Center. She further revealed that it was Hayes who messaged her first.
"So we were at the performance center, and I was a few months in. It felt like time stood still, and we were shaking hands, and I was greeting everyone. He was going around every single day shaking everyone's hands, but in that moment it felt like time stood still, and we both were just like staring at each other, and then we just walked away [...] Apparently, I think he told one of our coaches like, 'Wow, that girl is so beautiful' but I didn't know that at the time. Eventually, time passed, and he ended up messaging me, and that was it. And, then we went and got some tacos," Jordan said. [From 52:00 to 52:55]

While Jordan continues to defend her title at NXT, Hayes is currently feuding with Andrade on Friday Night SmackDown. It remains to be seen if and when the two superstars reunite on WWE's main roster.
