Current WWE champion shares brutal battle scars following Money in the Bank loss
WWE Money in the Bank has traditionally been seen as one of the most brutal events of the year and it seems that this year's lived up to the hype. Both the men's as well as the women's bouts saw lot of mindblowing spots and high voltage action.
One man who was part of several high-profile spots in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match was Andrade, who has since showed off some of the bruises that his bumps on the ladder have left him with.
The images can be seen here.
The current Speed Champion was unable to win the match as Drew McIntyre took out Jey Uso with a Claymore and then climbed the ladder to win the contract.
Andrade was one of the surprising additions to the match but was able to prove why he had a right to be there and put his body on the line several times. Despite being a current champion, Andrade hasn't been given the expected boost on the main roster since his return, with the company failing to even mention his current title reign.
Andrade is the husband of fellow WWE Superstar Charlotte
Andrade recently made his return to WWE to work alongside his wife Charlotte, before she was sidelined at the end of 2023 with a leg injury. Charlotte has since been rehabbing her injury and keeping the WWE Universe updated every step of the way.
Charlotte was expected to make her return ahead of SummerSlam or around SummerSlam season, which means that she could return anytime now and she and Andrade will be able to work together as a couple for the first time.
Andrade has been one star that seems to be lost on the SmackDown roster since being moved away from the LWO and fans hope that there is a way for him to push up the ranks towards The Bloodline and the world championship picture in the coming months.
